Gugliotta Carmelo Arredamenti e Macchine per Uffici was officially founded in 1979 in the city of Modica by Carmelo Gugliotta, who decided, after many years’ experience within the industry, to start his own business. The adventure started in Via Tirella, an important connecting route next to the historical centre of Modica, with a modest-sized showroom, where he marketed the first technological products for offices and office furnishings. Thanks to its growth, the office moved to Via Risorgimento 34, where newer and larger premises provided a bigger showroom for products and interconnected services. In 2008 the company changed its name to Gugliotta Soluzioni per Uffici, coinciding with the entry of the second generation into the company.
